裏落では、裏への入り方と腕(かいな)の返し方を学んでください。 常に相手の中心を攻めながら、相手の正面から側面へ、そして、側面から裏へと入ります。 相手を倒す時は、腕(かいな)を返して、相手を十分に崩すことに注意してください。
(Commentary)
This “KATA”, Uraotoshi, teaches how to step in the opponent’s back and how to make him imbalanced by rotating your arm “kaina kaeshi”. Maintaining the control of the opponent’s center from your body, where the opponent grabbed, i.e. your arm, you have to move to the opponent’s side and the step in the opponent’s back. In this moment, your arm should be attached to the opponent’s back. By rotating your arm “kaina kaeshi”, i.e. slightly pushing the opponent’s back by your arm during the rotation, you will be able to make the opponent imbalanced in the direction he is going to fall down.
