~ To transmit a force to an opponent’s body ~/ Daitouryu Aikijujutsu YAMATOKAI
(解説)
この逆小手では、力の伝達の仕方を学んでください。 相手の胸取に対して、掛手(こちらから顔と腹に攻撃する)で当身を打ちます。 それを受けた相手の手を右手で取り、手を返して両手で逆極めにします。 この時、相手の手を自分の胸に引き付けるようにするとよく極まります。 最後は、体を開いて相手を倒します。
(Commentary)
This KATA “Gyakugote” teaches how to transmit a force to an opponent’s body. Against “Munadori” that the opponent grasps to your chest by his left hand, you do “Atemi” that you hit him at his face and his stomach. And you catch his right hand which came stopping your attack, after you rotate his arm upward, you get to bend his wrist inward with both hands. In this movement of bending his wrist, you can effectively lock his wrist by drawing his arm toward your chest. Finally, you through down him by changing the direction of your body.

《基本形と応用変化》
形から学ぶことは非常にたくさんあります。 まずはひとつひとつ意識しながら稽古します。動きや感覚に慣れてくれば、それを無意識に動くまで練り込んでいくことが大切です。 さらに、形から学んだ技法を応用変化させて、様々な技法を身に付けてください。
《The basic “KATA” and applied change technique》
There are many techniques to learn from the basic practice of “KATA”. The first essential teaching is to practice while staying conscious of each movement, and once you are accustomed to these movements and sensations, it is important to practice them until you move through these movements in a flow, unconsciously. What’s more, through this practice you will acquire confidence, and learn to apply and change the techniques learned from the basic “KATA” to acquire a variety of techniques and more advanced skills.
