【一本捕と変化技011】~肘を制すること~

 

（解説）

この一本捕では、肘を制することを学んでください。

肘を制するというのは、単に肘の動きを止めるという意味ではなく、肘を通じて相手の体の動きを止めるということです。

肘の二の腕側をしっかり掴み、相手の体の中心（体の動きが止まる方向）に力を向けます。

大東流の技の多くは、この肘の制し方で構成されています。

 

（Commentary）

This KATA “Ippondori” teaches how to suppress movement of opponent by controlling his elbow.

This does not mean just stopping opponent’s elbow but stopping movement of his body through grasping his elbow.

It is important to grasp a specific point of his elbow and to stop his body movement.

The specific point to grasp is his upper arm close to elbow.

From the specific point, you should control his center of body axis.

Daitouryu uses often such a technique to suppress body movement by controlling his elbow.
